Churovich, Ruth E. (nee Bohrmann)

Ruth E. Churovich (nee Bohrmann) was born on August 24, 1929 and passed away on March 12, 2025.  She was the loving and devoted wife of her late husband, Melvin D. Churovich, for 61 years; the warm and caring mother of Donna (David) Bell, Daran (Dana), Deanna (Tom) Broadwell, Douglas (Katy) and Dale (Ana); the adoring grandmother of Kayla (Tim) Leon, Yarik (Huilin) and Benjamin Broadwell, Erin (Anthony) Eckwood, Drew Churovich and Kara (Nick) Churovich and Samantha (Will) Beasley; the attentive great grandmother of Aiden Eckwood, Emma June Leon and Marlo Broadwell; dear sister to the late Dorothy (William) Norwood; and dearly-loved sister-in-law, mother-in-law, aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Ruth lived most of her life in and about St. Louis, MO and many of her later years at Laclede Groves in Webster Groves, MO.  She was a long-time, active member of Webster Gardens Lutheran Church in Webster Groves, MO.

Services: Visitation will be held on March 17th, 2025 at 10:00 am and the funeral service at 11:00 am at Webster Gardens Lutheran Church, 8749 Watson Road, St. Louis, MO 63119.  There will be a private interment afterwards.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Laclede Groves Benevolent Care at 723 S. Laclede Station Rd., Webster Groves, MO 63119, or to a charity of your choice.

The family would like to thank the staff members at Laclede Groves and at EverTrue Hospice for the excellent care they provided Ruth.
