  5. My brother was an incredible man strong, personable, and welcoming to everyone. He did his duty as an Infantry soldier in Viet Nam, earning a Purple Heart medal and Combat Infantry badge. After the war, he spent 20 years delivering mail on foot for the USPS in the heat and cold winters of St. Louis. He never complained, even when he had every reason to do so.
Ross used to say that we didn’t deserve things in life. We had to earn them. I agree. The three of us brothers grew up in the same little house in Ferguson, Missouri. We made our own way in life. Ross hard some of the hardest challenges, yet he was a strong and humble man. He will be remembered by many.

    I miss him dearly,

    Mark.

  6. Ross was my friend for 50 years. He was smart, thoughtful and generous. When he knew the end was close he spoke of those closest to him. Not himself. Ross was courageous. I will miss you.
