passed away on Friday, July 18, 2025.

Loving wife of the late Otto J. Cook of 67 years; beloved mom of Janell (Larry) Declue; dearest grandma of Tyler (Brooke) Declue and Melissa (Charlie Houska) Declue; dear great-grandma of Halle Jane Houska and Otto Tyler Declue; sister of the late Leslie (survived by Audrey) Hampton, Louis Hampton, Hetty (Joseph) Tancsa and Ervin Hampton; sister-in-law of Robert (the late Willadean) Cook, Shirley (Fred) Portwood, the late Donald (LuEllen) Cook, Elmar (June) Cook, Delmar Cook and John (Beverly) Cook; our dear aunt, cousin and friend of many.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Black River Baptist Church and/or Davis Upper Bee Fork Cemetery.

Service Thursday, July 24, 10:00 a.m. at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois Rd.  Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.  Visitation Wednesday 4:00 – 8:00 p.m.

  2. Janelle and family, we are so sad to hear about the passing of Jannie. Both Otto and Jannie played such an important role during our earlier days, when Roger and Otto worked together at Union Electric.
    As time went on we didn’t see them nearly as often, but they were, and still are, dear to our hearts. Condolences, Roger and Rosetta Hagan
