January 8, 1936 - March 24, 2026

Crick, Herman S. “Bill”, formerly of Hopkinsville, Kentucky passed away on Tuesday, March 24th, 2026 at the age of 90. He was a beloved husband of 71 years to Carolyn M. Crick (nee Birch). Dear father of Cynthia Claspille and the late Deborah Crick. Loving grandfather to Hannah (Daniel) Johnson and Jacob (Lily Masterson) Claspille. Cherished brother-in-law to Donna and Gary Reidy, John and Mary Ann Harper, and Nancy Crick. Dearest uncle, great-uncle, cousin, and friend to many. He will be deeply missed.

Bill was welcomed into Heaven by those who preceded him in death, including his parents Felix and Katie Crick, and his siblings Jack (Bonnie) Crick, Louise (Elmer) Mitchell, Hershel (Lottie) Crick, Noah Crick, Emogene Jones, Carl (Audine) Crick, Donald Crick, and Eugene Crick.

Bill was a man of strong dedication and support for his family, friends, and community. He was always willing to help solve a problem or fix something, and he had an incredibly strong work ethic. He treasured time spent with family and friends, especially around a good meal. He was a retired member of the Teamsters Local 600, a dedicated member of the St. Vincent DePaul Society, and several other charities that he supported.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that you consider a donation to Holy Family Church in Arnold, Missouri to assist in their efforts to rebuild after a devasting tornado.

Service: Private Burial at Immaculate Conception Cemetery in Arnold, Missouri.

  1. I’m so sorry to hear of your loss. Even though I did not know your father, hearing you speak of him often, I pray he is enjoying time with his Savior.

  2. So sorry to hear of Bill’s passing. I will always remember him on our visits with Aunt Tea and Uncle Clem. My condolences Carolyn and Cindy. Bless you all!

  3. So sorry for Bill’s passing. He was a wonderful man who helped us out many times through the years along with others he helped. We have many fond memories of him. Please except our sincere condolences and may God bless you, Carolyn, Cindi, Hannah, Daniel, Jacob and Lily. With much love and respect.
