Decker, Joseph John, age 89, baptized into the Hope of Christ’s Resurrection on Tues. Dec. 22, 2020. Joe is preceded in death by his wife, Nancy A. Decker (nee Roseman) and wife, Lauretta F. Decker (nee Wyland); son Joseph O. Decker, parents Otto and Margaret Decker, brothers Otto and Rich Decker, sister’s Helen Kremer and Hedy Feldt. He is survived by his daughters, Janet Sebelski, Patricia (Joe) DeLucia, Mary (Dave) Colon and Catherine (Patrick) Decker-Shanahan. Loving grandfather of ten and five great-grandchildren.
Joe served in the Korean Conflict and was stationed in Japan. He retired in 1994 after 28 years with SBA. Joe was a friend to many, never meeting a stranger. He always brought laughter and will be remembered for his humor, wit and “one liners”.
Services: All services will be announced at a later date. Memorials may be made to any Veterans organization. KUTIS SOUTH COUNTY Service.
