Derby, Edward R. Baptized into the hope of Christ’s Resurrection, on Saturday, August 28, 2021. Beloved  husband of Vicky A. Derby (nee Landa) for over 31 years. Loving father of Jacob E. (fiancee’ Kylie Cooper) Derby and Zachary (fiancee’ Taylor Stein) Derby; cherished grandpa of Colton, Avianna and Parker Derby; son of the late Melvin and Sally Derby; dearest brother of Melvin S. (Mary K. nee Eckelkamp) Derby and the late Stephen E. Derby and Kathern S. Derby.

Funeral at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd., on Friday, September 3, 12 noon. Interment Park Lawn Cemetery. Visitation Thursday 4-8 p.m.

    I’m so so sorry to hear of Ed’s passing. He was such a rock for our family growing up and even into adulthood. He helped teach my brothers how to paint and get the job done right and was always there for my dad and mom. And that car… 🙂 Ed is unmatched and the world is worse off for no longer having him in it.
