  1. I was in Miss Landolt’s second grade class her first year of teaching at Bayless and she was my favorite teacher! I went to Bayless through 12th grade and had Mr. Dykstra as a history teacher as well. I was a member of the FTA club at Bayless (future teachers of America) and we got to help out in classrooms in the elementary school, so I was able to keep in touch with her through high school. She was so sweet, caring and kind. I ran into her once after high school at the corner bar restaurant in Ballwin. I recognized her after all these years, introduced myself and we caught up for a minute. I was so happy to get to see her again! Unfortunately, it was after Mr. Dykstra had already passed away. My condolences for your loss.

  2. Mary was a neighbor of mine for several decades. We reconnected more when both of us lost our spouses. Mary always had a warm and fun disposition. I loved her sense of humor! Both of us were voracious readers and often shared books we recommended to each other. Unfortunately, I am struggling through a bad cold and will be unable to attend her visitation.
    My sympathies to her family.
