  2. Kathleen,
Was one of the GREAT teachers. Her concern for teaching us Math students and her dedication and smile was probably the reason I became an Engineer. Her Math class was always such a joy to go to. She respected every student in the class and treated us in a good Catholic way.

  3. I saw Ms. Flood last year. We had a lovely lunch together. She was a great teacher at Bishop Dubourg. During my visit with her she was really jolly and enjoyed remembering her time with all her students and the stories she shared were wonderful. She’ll be missed.

  5. So much that can be said about her. The four years of going to DC, helping to run Junk Food Palace, setting up blood drives, and being president of Pro-Life Club for two years, it was safe to say we spent a lot of time together during my high school years. Her sense of humor and love of teaching were what I remember most about her. You will forever be one of my favorite humans! RIP Ms Flood and condolences to all her friends and loved ones.

  6. Ms.Flod was one of my favorite teachers. She had a wicked goid sense of humor and was so compassionate. But shr never pulled the punches when you needed a good solid slap of reality. She always spoke with purpose. She really did help me to be a better part of the community.
I loved staying after school for Pro- life ralleys. Thanks and condolances to her family.

  7. She actually got me to love math. Algebra. I got A’s in her class because She had a wonderful way of teaching & I wanted to impress her. Thank you Ms. Flood. R.I.P. Prayers go out to her family & friends, and everyone who knew her. I was even quiet in her class. Anyone who knows me, that’s a hard thing for me to do.

  8. I graduated in 1990 and have fond memories of Kathy Flood. I remember her being in the halls of the school between classes, seeing her in the cafeteria and she made sure no shenanigans was ever happening. She also gave out demerits as I received my 4th from her for rolling up my skirt so my boxers would show. She was a great teacher and all around good person.

  9. I went to school with Kathy, Holy Family, class of 1962. Kathy was always one of the smartest kids in the class and she was very good at athletics. She was a kind person, too. It seems like she had a beautiful life doing what God wanted her to do!

  12. My sincere condolences & love to Kathy’s family & many friends. God saw to it that we got together one last time, when we were wheeled into the same physical therapy session at Sherbrooke Village. You just can’t make these things up, right? She was still in fine talking form, despite her other limitations. God bless you, Dear Friend! ❤️
