  4. Since the day Tony moved into the neighborhood, he took his role as the top of the street gatekeeper to heart. We will miss his chats on the four wheeler while fishing, although Tony did more talking than fishing! RIP dear friend, I know heaven has cheesecake, but I’ll miss sharing with you.

  6. Dear Chris, Donna, Kristina, and Anna—

I was deeply saddened to learn of Tony’s death. I have worked evenings in the BSC at SLU for the last four years, and I was fortunate to get to know Tony during this time. He had a wonderful sense of humor, he was kind, he was interesting, and he kept all of us at SLU safe. Tony was a true gentle giant, and he will be deeply missed here.

I’ll keep you in my prayers during this difficult time, and I hope that the fond memories you have of Tony will act as a healing balm for your hurting hearts.

    In Sympathy—
    Matt

Tony, you were a good man. I enjoyed working with you & talking with you. Tell Henry Owens & Bob Peterson hi & if you see Bob fall on the ice don’t ask him if he’s still going to drink his milkshake😂. As always, carry on my wayward son. RIP

  11. Tony attended the IPMBA Police Cyclist Course at SLU in 2008. Although I never met him personally, I was told that he was a committed bike officer who served the SLU community with a sense of humor. Our thoughts and prayers are with Tony, his family, friends, and colleagues, and everyone whose lives he impacted. Pedal on, Tony!
