  11. Gloria was the first person I met when I started working at SLU three years ago. I still remember that first day—walking into SAP, seeing how busy she was, yet she still took the time to sit with me, making me feel welcome. From that moment on, she became both a mentor and a friend. I will miss her dearly.

  17. I met Gloria when I worked in Cardiology at SLU Hospital. She was a delightful colleague and friend. She talked about retiring this year and I hate that she wasn’t able to enjoy that. She always asked about my kids and we would talk about her grandbabies, whom she cherished.

  21. I first met Gloria when I began a nursing internship in the Heart Failure & Transplant program at SLU in 1994. If the nurses who supported the cardiologists in this group were the ship, then Gloria was the rudder & motor. She kept us on task and was the most efficient & capable person I’d ever met. I pray for your soul, Gloria, but I’m sure you’re already in heaven, so I’ll also pray for you dear family whom I know are grieving your loss.-you will be missed. Peace & blessings to all.

  24. What a beautiful picture of Gloria! Those blue eyes!! Gloria will be remembered for many positive things she put her energy towards. She was a dedicated employee to Saint Louis University School of Medicine for more years than most have worked at the institution. I for one had the pleasure of working with Gloria at SLU Cardiology beginning in the mid 1980’s. I also know that she loved her grandchildren and children. Was shocked to hear of her passing. She will be missed by many!
