Services: Visitation at KUTIS AFFTON Chapel, 10151 Gravois, Tuesday, 1/4, from 10 a.m. until service at 11 a.m. Private interment. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer’s Association.

John was a wonderful teacher, mentor and friend. I have some great memories from our years at Lyon ABI. We also have lovely memories of him at Toni’s bonfires. He will be greatly missed.

So sorry to hear Mr Haas passed away! Prayers for peace and healing being sent for his family. He was my 5th grade teacher at Lyon ABI in the 80s. He was definitely a dedicated educator that left a legacy of being remembered fondly by his students.

Mr.Haas left a mark on all of his students at Lyon A.B.I. He was my favorite teacher . Some of the things he would say I have said to my children 100s of times. He was a special man.
