Margaret Ellen Hayden (Welsh, Castillo, Broyles)

Margaret Ellen Hayden was born July 19, 1943, in St. Louis, Mo. and died April 11, 2025, in St. Louis Missouri at the age of 81.

Loving mom to Brian Welsh (Theresa), Jennifer Crawford (Tim) and Bill Castillo (Lori).

Loving grandma to Joshua Gibson (Tasha), Matt Gibson (Jennifer), Hayden Welsh, Andrew Crawford, Lindsey Crawford, Greg Castillo, Daniel Castillo and Jonathan Castillo.

Loving great-grandma (gram-gram) to Tyler Gibson, Abby Gibson, Nathan Gibson and Logan Gibson.

Margaret, known as Maggie, is preceded in death by her parents Paul Sears Hayden and Margaret Virginia Hayden, nee Kelley, and by her twin brother John Frank Hayden.

Maggie is survived by her sisters Virginia Ann Brown (Hayden) and Mary Byrne (Hayden).

Maggie is an aunt, great aunt, and cousin to many.  Her family was her world, and she cherished spending time with those she loved so very much.  There was never a favor asked of her by any of her family that she wouldn’t do. She will forever be in our hearts and will be missed terribly. What a large happy family she has left as her legacy!

Visitation Friday April 18, 9:00 a.m. until Service 11:00 a.m. at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois Rd.  Interment Valhalla Cemetery.
