She had majored in business at Fontbonne College (now University) in St Louis.

Lorraine is survived and dearly loved by her niece Laura Pennie (Ron) Bozzay, great nephews Bryan (Alison Hoemann) Bozzay and Dan (Sarah May) Bozzay, and her great, great nieces Emma and Reagan and her great, great nephew Henry.  She loved them fiercely and they loved her fiercely back.

She was an avid golfer, a seasoned traveler, a voracious reader, and a rodeo enthusiast.  A dedicated volunteer at St. Stephen Protomartyr Church and was one of the Eucharistic Ministers there for a number of years.  She had many friends from around the world.
