Joerding-crop

In Loving Memory

Joerding, Mark J.

On December 9, 2024, Mark peacefully entered the gates of Heaven surrounded by his family after a battle of Alzheimer’s. Mark was the beloved husband of Tina Joerding (née Webb) for 44 years. He met Tina at her fathers 7-11 when they were younger.
Proud father of Crescent (Derek) Lutz, Daniel (Kayla) Joerding and Ashley Joerding; blessed grandfather of Pierce, Mekhi, Greyson, Addelyn, Melania and one on the way.
Dear brother of Ted (Karen) Joerding and dear uncle, brother-in-law, cousin and friend. He is preceded in death by his father Earl Joerding, mother Georgia Joerding (Pruitt), father-in-law Jerry Webb Sr. and mother-in-law Florence Webb (Grimes).
Mark retired from National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency as a Aeronautical Analyst after 35yrs. He had a love for flying his Cessna and riding his Harley. He would wake his kids up in the morning, fly them to have breakfast and be home by lunch. He loved going on motorcycle rides with his kids as well. He would ride them around the block or to different Harley-Davidson shops in the area.
During his free time, he loved to listen to Alison Krauss and watch NASCAR, John Wayne movies, Blue Bloods, and NCIS.
Mark also had a love for his pets. He had a dog, Gage aka Big Guy, who he is now reunited with and his cat, Billy, who now lives with his daughter Ashley.
Mark was a very funny, caring, gentle and quiet husband, father, and friend who will be greatly missed forevermore.

Services: Visitation Saturday, January 11 at Kutis South County Chapel (5255 Lemay Ferry Road) 1:00 PM until the service at 2:30 PM.

  2. Always a gentleman and a congenial colleague. Mark “left a lot of happy tracks” at the agency. The world has lost one of the truly good ones. RIP my friend. Your difficult days are over.
