We’re sadden to hear of Jan passing. We her New York friends share in your sorrow.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you all in this time of grief.
Jan and I cross path over 15 years ago on the internet we fast became doll collector email friends. Life happened then we reconnected again on the same path. We laughed how we graduated from e-mail to texting. The texting became a almost daily thing, some times more then once a day. At first we texted about dolls, Jan’s passion was high end fashion dolls, especially Poppy Parker.
Jan was very knowledgeable about her fashion dolls especially their outfits and accessories since she was a amazing seamstress. We then started texting about fashion, then TV omg what laughs we had about MAFS.
Although I never met the Kaufman family I feel like I know you all. Jan spoke of you all often (even sent pictures so I could see her wonderful, beautiful family. She loved you all so very very much. We texted about her health problems and she would say she’s not a Debbie downer I had never heard that expression ♥️then I heard it on TV several times.
I knew she was sick and tired.
To me she’s amazing Jan. It has been such a joy and honor to know amazing Jan as a doll sister collector and a friend. My heart is heavy today and I know yours is also. I will cherish Jan’s text forever. We will all miss Jan, she touched so many lives.
Condolences to Amazing Jan’s wonderful beautiful family that she loves so much with all her heart. Sincerely her text pal Monsey

Jan was a blessing to all who knew her. Our paths crossed years ago in NYC at an international doll event. Years later our paths crossed again and we had been emailing ever since. We shared a lot and she was a great example to me of courage and faith in fighting my own cancer. More than anything she loved her family and fought so courageously to stay with them as long as she could. She is now in God’s loving arms and I will continue to pray for her.
My sincere sympathies to Jan’s family. She will never be forgotten and is now on a new journey with our Lord.

Jan was such a beautiful soul and I’m honoured to have met her so many years ago at our first doll convention in New York, and having kept in touch ever since. She will be remembered, and missed. Love and blessings to all the family, from across the waters in Melbourne.

I know it is over a year.I think about Jan frequently. I was not able to come and say my last goodbye to Jan because of a death of a family member.
Jan and I were friends from early grade school years. She was the most kind and caring person I have ever known. Her smile lit up every where she went.
Jan’s family was and( still is up in Heaven )the most joy in her life. You all have an angel watching over you.
