In Loving Memory

Kohlberg, M. Christine

Kohlberg, M. Christine (nee Ruzicka), fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Saturday October, 26 2024. Loving wife of Joe Kohlberg. Beloved mother of Kyle (Charity) Kohlberg, Katie (Tim Delaney) Kohlberg, Kerry (Tim) Berberich and Keith (Kristen) Kohlberg. Cherished grandmother of Kayden, Kylie, Ella, Emma, Eva, Gavin, Mia, Kinsley, Paisley, Henry, Harper, Lydia and Maya. Our dear sister, sister-inlaw, aunt, cousin and friend to many.

Chris filled most of her days crafting, playing golf and of course spending time with her thirteen grandchildren. She made the most of every minute, as she was too well aware that life is short. In recent years, her battle with cancer got tougher, and so did she. She fought hard and never complained. Her tenacity and perseverance will forever be an inspiration to all of us

Services; Funeral at Kutis South County Chapel (5255 Lemay Ferry) on Friday November 8, at 12:00PM. Interment JB National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations to the American Cancer Society appreciated. Visitation Thursday 4-8 p.m.

  1. Joe and Family,
Jim and want to send our condolences to Joe and family. Have lived across the street from the Kohlbergs for at least 48 years. I loved talking to Chris about plants, our grandchildren, etc. She will be surely missed by everyone. She had a lot to battle.

  4. Dear Kohlberg Family,

We are so sorry for your loss. We have fond memories our families spending time together and growing up over the years. Chris was an amazing woman and a great friend to our mom, I’ll even say best friend, for many years. Take comfort in knowing that Joanie was there to greet her at the gates and I’m sure they ran off to a concert, found a Jazzercise class, a trip to a casino, or just spent the day talking and laughing.

Losing a parent is heartbreaking and we pray for your peace and comfort in the days to come.

    All our love,
Kim and Justin aka “The L’Hote’s”
