God’s peace and grace to you Lillie and to your loved ones. I first met Bill in the mid nineteen seventies when he got saved and started coming to our church. Many years passed and I became his last golf partner. I’m sure he has a tee time in the future waiting for us. Bill brought kindness, friendship and laughter everywhere he went.
Never afraid to let anyone know of his grateful love for his savior, he was always ready to share his faith and the hope within him for this day.
We won a lot… but this time he won the greatest prize of all….
… thou hast been faithful over a little, now enter into the joy of the Lord.

Dearest Lillie,
I am so grateful that God allowed us to become friends. We enjoyed spending time with you and Bill and his humor and laughter touched us, especially young Nathan, deeply. It is evident your love for the LORD and your love for each other. I will miss overhearing “I love your face” on our walks at the close of your phone calls. The ending of your calls always made me chuckle as I had no understanding. But when he shared his experiences with God with my husband and myself and as he shared his salvation testimony, I clearly understood the phrase, “I love your face…” as a close to your conversations.
We love you and we are praying for you.
Billy was our golf partner at the prairies golf course in Cahokia Illinois. What a fun loving guy we had no idea he passed he will be sorely missed.
