MacDonald, Jill D. age 47, passed away on Wednesday, April 16, 2025. Beloved wife of Kim Salls; dearest daughter of Daniel and Paulette (nee Desharnais) MacDonald; loving sister of Jennifer (Taylor) Smith, Marni (James) Lawrence, Megan Carriere (Travis Tuchscherer) (the late Jeff Carriere) and the late Kerry Ann MacDonald; dear daughter-in-law of Alan and Tippy Steevens; dear sister-in-law of David (Alicia) Salls and Jamie and Kristin Robinson; World’s best Auntie Beans to Brendan and Lexi, Hali, Logan, Camden, Riley, Brayden, Kaya, Makhi, Mya, Saydi, Lila, Connor, Mera, Harper, and Isla. World’s most amazing friend to her wolfpack and so many others. RIP sweet girl. She will be missed beyond measure.
A Celebration of Life will be held for Jill MacDonald in the Ultra Club at Energizer Park (MLS soccer stadium) from 1:00pm -5:00pm on Sunday, June 1st, 2025. Jill abhorred funerals and she never wanted people to mourn her passing. Rather, she wanted friends and family both near and far to celebrate her life. In typical Jill fashion, she wanted a party and for everyone to be happy on this day in remembrance of her. Let’s honor her wishes by giving her an amazing day that we can look back on and smile. Food will be served, cash bar. Parking is prepaid in the garage across the street. Anyone who knew Jill and wishes to attend is welcome. My heart breaks with you Kim and all of Jill’s family. I am so sorry. She was a special woman and such a warrior. Sending you all my thoughts and prayers. Kim you have so many people to support you when you need anything. We will always remember her and keep her memory alive.
Lately it feels like we have lost so many “Greats” of the world. Jill was one the greatest of great. My heart breaks, my tears shed for you all. Jill was nothing less than magical and hilarious. She touched us all because she was so amazing. Thank you for sharing your beautiful person with us. Kim, you and Jill have changed and effected so many peoples lives in a positive way. If we measured our lives in is effectiveness on others, Jill was a thousand when she left us. Heaven probably couldn’t live without her any longer. Hugs, prayers and all my love Kim.
Jill was One of the Strongest persons I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. I meet you Power by Hope ladies a few years ago and have always felt Very Honored to be in your presence.My heart breaks to hear this sad news but I know that GOD has a wonderful Angel by his side.
