Our condolences from Arkansas on the passing of your Dad. My memories of your parents are seared in my heart. All the smiles and laughter and the unwavering “welcoming” spirit of the two of them was Never at a loss. They loved seeing us as much as we loved seeing them. 9. Sincere condolences to Charlie’s family. I wish those few words could fix everything. Anyone who knew him will miss him. What a multitude of wonderful memories there must be. I only knew him for about 30 years and I have many….most of them include your loving mom as well. May Charlie rest in peace and may you, his family, find some comfort in knowing he truly is finally at peace with Glenda

  17. Charlie, Charlie, where did you go?
Are you dancing on moonbeams, lighter than snow.
    Charlie, Charlie, in the sky.
Your life was full, laughing, teasing, as it passed by.
    We loved you so.

We weep for the memories. We cry for the dead.
Images flashing, things that were said.

Charlie, Charlie, where are you now?
A whisper of feelings, that touch us somehow.

Continue your journey. Float high on a star.
In peace and in comfort, knowing you’re loved from afar.

  21. Marty and I were very saddened to hear the news. Charles was always very sweet to us and a good neighbor. I know he contributed a lot to our community, especially some of the beautiful trees on our street. Your family is in our thoughts for sure.

We haven’t seen him in several years and just learned today of his passing. He was our next door neighbor for 10 years. It was our first home, we were clueless and couldn’t have asked for a better neighbor. It was like having your dad next door. Charlie taught us so much, shared his bounty from the garden and was always willing to help with our feeble attempts at home maintenance. He would just shake his head and laugh, then teach us how to do it. What a guy!! What a smile!! One in a million!!
    Our sincere condolences.
