Matt, Andrew V. “Andy” Wednesday October 18, 2023. Beloved husband of Julie A. Matt (nee Gray). Dear father of Christy (Johnny) Barker, Shellie (Roger) Missler, Missy ( Marc) Borchardt, Kelly (Jason) Dillard and Elizabeth (Kevin) Grass. Dear Papa of Alice, Evin, Addison, Brooke, Drew, Rachel. Riley, Colin, Natalie, Gavin, Colton and Laci. Dear brother of Steve Matt, Julie Amsden, Tim Matt and the late Rita Bresler and Johnny Matt. Our dear brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend.

Funeral from Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. Monday October 23, 9:00 am to St. Martin of Tours Church for 9:30 am Mass. Interment Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. Member of Pete Gray Trout Club and the American Welding Society. In lieu of flowers, contributions to the American Cancer Society appreciated. Visitation Sunday 4-8 pm.

  2. Andy was remarkable, loved by many, and will be forever missed. He fought a good fight, but God Needed him home. I’m sure he has gathered all the angels and Andy leading them in songs of Joy.

  3. Andy was such a nice man. I am sorry to Julie and family for the loss of the great guy. I loved it when he would play Alice’s Restaurant. (going back some years).

  7. So many wonderful memories of Andy. We were in choir together at SMT, he and I sang/played guitar at weddings, funerals, practicing at his house, him singing “Mary did you know” at Midnight Mass,… He was so extremely kind, his chuckles, ..

    Rest in Christs” most Perfect Peace Andy. Your unconditional friendship was very noticeable, and greatly appreciated.
    You’re a true gem and will never be forgotten. Until we meet again brother!
