To the family of Theresa I know only too well the great void this wonderful Mother, Grandmother, wife and friend will leave behind. She was always a breathe of fresh air and very kind whenever I spoke with her. She loved and enjoyed her family and lived her life to the fullest. God needed her to return home. All I can tell you is that she is still with you You will experience this in your hears this I know. May the love of God be with you all during this time. You will all be in my prayers. Theresa has her wings now and she is free. May you all find the strength to get through this time. Love Lydia Zaccaro Family Friend

I did not know Mrs. McKnight personally, however, she was a prayer warrior. Prayed for me and my family for years. Now it’s her turn to rest in the arms of Jesus. As she was a prayer on this earth, she is now in His presence in continuing in Glory.

Theresa was a bright light and she will be sorely missed. May she rest peacefully in the arms of Jesus.

I’m sure everyone here has memories much like mine. They are good memories, something we’ll always have to cherish. It isn’t often in our lives that we come across someone so special that that person stays with you forever. Grandma was that kind of person.
The kind of love Grandma felt for us was a love without condition. She may not have approved of everything we did, may not have liked some of the decisions we made, but she didn’t lecture, she didn’t judge. She just kept loving us, letting us know that she was there and if we ever needed her, we could count on her to listen, to comfort, to help.
She lived a simple life. It didn’t take much to make her happy—a phone call, a card, or a visit. We were the most important people in the world to her. She lived to make our lives better and was proud of us.
To think that someone like her felt that way about us should make us all feel more than just a little good. We can never forget that there is a part of her in each of us, something that she gave to us and asked nothing for in return. Money can be squandered and property ruined, but what we inherited from her cannot be damaged, destroyed or lost. It is permanent, and it keeps her from becoming just a wonderful memory. It allows her in so many ways to remain just as alive as always—alive through us.
There have been and will be times in our lives when situations arise where we’ll want so much to talk to her, be with her or ask her just what we should do. I hope that, when those times come, we can begin to look to each other and find that part of her that she gave to each of us.
Grandma and Grandpa were married for 74 years. What they had was without doubt True Love. They never stopped when things got hard. The Love for one another was inspiring. It was better than any Love Story.
Maybe we can learn to lean on each other and rely on each other the way we always knew that we could with her. Maybe then she won’t seem quite so far away.
So, for your wisdom, your humor, tenderness and compassion, your understanding, your patience and your love; thank you, Grandma. After you, Grandma, the mold was indeed broken. I will forever miss my vacations at your house each Summer when I was little, our shopping adventures at Value City and thrift stores, your God given laugh, our Scrabble nights (even though you let me win most of the time), your kiss on the lips when you greet me and say goodbye, your heavenly Cheesecake, the best Thanksgiving dressing in the world, hearing you say, “I Love You, Sarah”…the list could go on. Thank you so much, Grandma. I will love you Forever & Always

To the Most Precious Loving and Caring Mother around, You and the famous Mother Theresa of India were a lot alike. You were always giving and sharing with others. You devoted your whole life to helping others. You helped me and my family so much through the years. I could never forget your Love for all of us. The way you lived your life as a True Christian. I am so very proud of you and I know God is too. God has now set you Free. No more Pain, No more suffering. Heaven has received a Beautiful Angel. You will always be in our hearts in minds of all of us. For the Beautiful things you have done in our lives. I remember the very last words you told me, Mom. That you loved me so very very much, as I was praying with you. I love you, Mom. You will always be in my heart and mind. Love your son, Michael, JoAnn, Becky, Sarah (Seth) McKnight.
