In Loving Memory

Moehlenbrock, Charles “Chuck” M.

January 15, 1960 - November 3, 2026

Charles (Chuck) Moehlenbrock, 66, formerly of Saint Louis, MO, passed away on November 3rd, 2026 at Missouri Baptist Hospital in Sullivan, MO.

Chuck was born on January 15, 1960 to Vernon and Rose Moehlenbrock in St. Louis.
He was raised to cherish family and friends and this trait followed him throughout his entire life.

He attended St. Gabriel the Archangel School, Bishop DuBourg High School and St. John the Baptist High School, where he made many friends that he kept throughout his entire life.

In 2011, Chuck married his wife Sheila. They shared a partnership built on patience, trust, unconditional love, LOTS of laughter, and a shared devotion for family tradition.

He dedicated a number of years of his life to his work as a Pressman in the printing industry where he was respected for his work ethic, integrity, and kindness to anyone he worked with.

Outside of work he enjoyed playing sports, fishing, the annual school picnic (an occasion that always required a new “picnic outfit”), the One Pitch Tournament as “Momma Mary’s Grandkids” team took the field, playing corkball at Gateway Corkball Club and his Wednesday night “happy hours” with the gang in the city and then with family and friends at Dave and Renee’s house after he moved to Sullivan.

As a father, Chuck was a steady anchor, mentor, and protector. He took great pride in raising his three children Issac, Jacob, and Alex.  Whether coaching their basketball teams, cheering from the sidelines, offering advice at the kitchen table, or fixing things around the house, his presence was a constant source of safety and love.

He was a proud “PaPa” to his six grandchildren who brought immense joy to him. He loved to call them and ask about their day or hear about what was going on with school or the fun things they had going on. Their smiles and laughter were the best medicine for him when he was not feeling so well and he was always quick to whip out his phone to show off photos of them whenever he had the opportunity.

He is survived by his devoted wife Sheila; his children, Issac and wife Heather, Jacob and wife Lauren, Alex and husband Justin; his cherished grandchildren, Bailey, Jackson, Harper, Nora, Madelynn, and Luna; his siblings, Skip and wife DeAnn, Mary Beth and husband Doyle, Kathy and husband Willard; brother in law Joe; mother in law Liz; sister in laws Sharon and husband Robert, Sandy and husband Scott; and a wide circle of extended family and dear friends.

He was proceeded in death by his parents, Vernon and Rose; his sister, Diane; his father -in- law Johnny; his brother- in- law JT.

A Memorial Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 12th from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM( Service at 7PM) at Kutis Funeral Home in Affton.

A Memorial Mass will be held on November 13th at 10:00 AM at St. Gabriel the Archangel Church followed by a gathering at Pietro’s Restaurant in celebration of Chuck’s life.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital in Chuck’s memory.

“His hard work, quiet strength, and deep love for his family and friends will live on in our hearts forever”.
