  1. I was blessed to have been able to spend time with my sister just before her passing. Marilyn was truly a wonderful big sister. Marilyn will be missed dearly and I am comforted that she is in a better place. If not for her I probably would still be unable to tie my shoes. God speed sis, we will see each other again.

  3. My wonderful sister, Marilyn. Nine years older, she was my teacher, babysitter and art instructor. So many photographs in our family album show her right next to me. There are so many memories…me babysitting her kids…eating one of her fabulous meals…just hanging out at her house up the street. When I left home at the age of 17 to attend the Naval Academy, followed by a long career, it was always one of my favorite things to do when I came “home”…visit Marilyn. She was always so proud of me. She loved all animals and was a lover of nature before it was chic. There was nothing she wouldn’t do to help a friend or neighbor. The world is a little less kind with her gone. I miss her.
