I work for a hospice and I took care of Herman for 6 months I’ve grown attached to him. He was a very lovely man, he was sweet and we had a lot of good laughs and jokes together as his hospice certified nurse assistant I will miss him deeply and I miss our talks that we had. It was my pleasure to take care of this man
Thank you! We appreciated all that you and what the hospice staff did for him! He is already missed!
Renee
Thank you Tammy! You are an angel!🥰
Please note that we will be available at 9a-950a to meet with family and friends.
Ed was a grade-school friend in Cuba MO. After many years we became reacquainted through a friend of his wife. During these last few years, especially these last months, he was a great inspiration to me. I am very thankful for transportation to visit with him during his last few weeks. May we meet again in in God’s heavenly home. Until then, God’s peace and comfort be upon you.
He loved the visits with you! So glad we were able to make that happen! He talked about you quite a bit and was proud to know you and be your friend!
Renee
He enjoyed those visits! So glad we could make it happen! He was proud to be you friend!
Rest in peace Mr. Neiter. Thank you for your encouragement in my late teens as a softball player. I truly thought I was retired for life, but never forgot your recruitment attempt to keep me active. I went on to play many more games for years. The world needs good influencers like Ed so young people feel included and find a healthy path for living.
❤️
Peggy! Thank you for the kind words!!
A simple, “Hi how ya doing”, turned into 35 years of friendship. Thanks Ed. We Are Diminished
Thank you Tim. It is amazing what a simple hi can turn into. He valued your friendship as well.
Hope your passing was peaceful. RIP Ed
Hi Eddie,
He did pass peacefully. He had said the first thing he was going to do was look for my mom. I am sure he found her and in a good place.
The above message is wrong. Glenn and Jackie Uthoff have been married 64 years, Ed introduced us as teenagers. May he rest in peace,he will be missed.. Glenn and Jackie Uthoff.
Herman was the best of the best neighbors. He helped us a lot when we moved in STL. He was so kind and generous. We and our puppies will remember him in our hearts.
Daniel and Jackie, what a wonderful thing to express! You in return were great neighbors.
Jackie and Glenn, I learned something new !!! Ed the matchmaker !
Buschy, we want to send our condolences to you and the entire Neiter clan. I’m on parent number 4 as caretaker and I can attest that sometimes it is harder on the caretaker than the patient, but he knows what a wonderful caretaker you were and I hope you know how special your talks were to him. You will never have any regrets that you were the best daughter you could be to him! God bless you.
Thank you Dubie. I appreciate your kind thoughts. It takes a village and thank goodness we have one of those close by. 🥰
