  1. So heartbroken over Moe’s passing. He was very brave while fighting cancer. I know he is free of pain and probably flirting with the angels. I will miss all the shenanigans we got into. I will treasure the memories and always, always remember you, my friend.

  3. Tracy, I’m so sorry for your loss. Moe was one of the best officers. Hopefully I can make you laugh a little, I guess Moe is calling an angel saying “tell Charlie to come here, nothing’s going to happen”. He was most definitely the only officer Charlie liked and respected.

  4. To the best dad anyone could ever dream of having. Hard working is the least of words that can describe him. From the time I was a baby all the way through my time in high school AND AFTER, he gave me all he could, not just the MANY monetary items he bought me throughout his life or helped me pay for, he was priceless in a way only his son could understand. Always telling me what he thought was best for me, accepting the mistakes i made, and still always forgiving and ready to help in 1 minute if I was in a jam. He helped me raise my girls with me when they were younger and showed them the exact same unconditional love and understanding he showed me and many others. He loved his job in a way most couldn’t, especially with all the risks taken to just be a police officer. He excelled at his job and was finally given due credit and promoted to sargeant. His grandfather and father also were St. Louis police officers and he knew he wanted to be just like them…….AND TRUST ME HE MADE THEM VERY PROUD. He was a fighter to the end……just like having the resolve to fight 2 times in Guns and Hoses….once knocking his opponent clear out the ring. He loved life….he loved his family….and loved his friends. He was an perfect example of someone who worked hard and played hard but also had a heart of gold and would help as many people as possible…….DAD YOU ARE THE MAN I ONLY WISH I COULD HAVE BEEN…..BUT I PROMISE TO KEEP TRYING AND WORKING HARD TO ONE DAY MAYBE BE HALF THAT GOOD OF A DAD, FRIEND, PAPA, AND ALL THE OTHER GREAT THINGS HE WAS. There are too many to name. I LOVE YOU SO MUCH AND MISS YOU EVERYDAY. I TAKE COMFORT THAT YOU NO LONGER HAVE TO DEAL WITH ALL THE STRUGGLES LIFE THREW AT YOU, ESPECIALLY IN THE END WHEN AS HARD AS YOU FOUGHT, CANCER FINALLY BROKE YOUR BODY DOWN……BUT NOT YOUR HEART, YOUR BRAIN, AND YOUR ABILITY TO LOVE SO MANY PEOPLE AND MAKE THE BEST OF EACH DAY. I know you are still watching over me and I cant wait to see you again……BUT I FEEL YOU IN MY HEART STILL PROTECTING ME LIKE ONLY A DAD CAN. YOU WERE THE BEST, THE VERY BEST AND YOU ARE FOREVER MISSED.

  5. My friend lived life to the fullest never lacking in determination no matter what he encountered in life. Anyone who was lucky enough to have Moe in their life knew he had their back. I’m sure he’s with the angels in the kingdom he righteously honored. I will never forget that I was blessed to have been part of his life here on earth.

  6. Moe was one of a kind and a gem to know. My five years working with him in the mid 1990s remain some of the fondest memories I possess. Moe made me laugh every single day. I knew he was always there if he was needed, and I learned so much from him. Rest easy Moe, until we meet again.
