  1. Dimitra and Bill, I am *so* sorry for your loss. I used to chant with Aris, who would good-naturedly grumble about women chanting and about English instead of Greek. He was a character, and a loving, good-hearted man who hid his soft side under a gruff exterior. He became koumbaros at the wedding of my own koumbaroi, Jim and Teresa Kellogg (I baptized their younger child, my sister baptized the older one). I’m sure he’s enjoying chanting with the angels now. Life to you all — may his memory be eternal. Ζωή σε σας — αιωνία αυτού η μνήμη! 😥🙏☦️
