Porter Roger W.

76, passed away Friday March 22, 2019. He was the widower of Mary Ellen Porter. They shared 23 years of marriage. He was the life partner to Linda Foy. They shared 27 years together. Roger was born in St. Louis, MO on November 16, 1942. He was the son of August and Helen Porter. He attended Afton high school and spent time in the US Army Reserves. He was employed at UPS as a mechanic for almost four decades before retiring at age 58. He was a member of the Afton Street Cleaners hot rod club. He was an avid car enthusiast and enjoyed attending local car shows. He will be remembered for his immense knowledge of all things car related.  He is survived by his partner Linda Foy, children Laurel and Roger Jr. (Alexis), and his grandchdren Madison, Mary, Lily, Ella and Ivy.

Visitation will be Wednesday March 27 4-8 p.m. at Kutis Funeral Home.10151 Gravois St. Louis, MO 63123(314)842-4458 Funeral services will be held at 12:30 pm Thursday March 28 at Kutis Funeral Home.Burial will follow at Our Redeemer cemetery. Memorial donations in lieu of flowers can be made to the American Diabetes Association
