Beloved husband of Amber Cauley; loving son of the late William and Mary Posey; dear brother of Christie (John) Crawford; dear uncle of Devin Crawford, Ava and Mason Howard and Maisy McLain; dear nephew of Patti and Dave Roberts; dear son in law of Theresa and Harlan Howard; dear cousin and friend to many.

Bill was a big supporter of the Blue Line; He loved auto racing, his family but most of all he loved his wife, Amber.

Services: Visitation at Kutis Affton Chapel 10151 Gravois, Monday September 29, 10:00 AM until services at 1:00 PM. Memorials to Backstoppers appreciated.

  1. Bill, I cannot believe you are gone. When i got the news this morning I just broke down. Almost all of my memories from High School include you, we had some good times together, and when we all got together, we did some crazy stuff lol. I know we had not talked in quite awhile, but you will always hold a special place in my heart, you were always like the big brother i never had. Rest in Peace Bill, and we will see you again one day.

  2. Bill was a big part of our lives in the early 2000’s. He was at our house almost every single day. I’ve never met a guy that loved to have fun more than he did.. I’ my condolences to Bills wife and his family, and all who knew him. My heart is with you all. 💔

    I am so sorry for the passing of Bill. I only met him a few times but he was a real joy to talk with. My heart breaks for all of you. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you.

  5. To the Posey Family, went in to Ace Hardware today and imagine the shock of learning of Bill’s death. The Dolenz family knew Bill from racing and then his work, Such a wonderful man. So very sorry for you loss, God does take the good ones.
