Potts, Doris Audrey

Doris Audrey Federer Potts, age 93, from St. Louis, Missouri died January 5, 2018. Beloved wife for 55 years of the late Ernest Maxwell Potts, MAI.  Loving mother of Audrey M. (Potts) Brosnan, Monica M. (Potts)  Province, Timothy W. Potts and Linda, the late Matthew Ernest Potts, Jeffrey S. Potts and  Barbara, Douglas A. Potts and Maryanne.  Cherished 17 grandchildren and 13 great- grandchildren.  Doris was active in public relations, radio and television media, including KMOX, WGNU, St. Louis Library, St. Louis Dairy Council, lectures and dramatic vocal performances featuring famous women in  American history.  She was a founding member of the St. Louis Symphony Chorus, and on the Boards of the Museum of Science and Natural History (now the St. Louis Science Center), and the St. Louis University Hospital Auxiliary.  She was an alumna of St. Louis University and Webster College, where she was actively  involved with Theater Impact (now Loretto Hilton Theater).  Services: Visitation at Kutis Funeral Home, 10151 Gravois Ave. in Affton (63123) on Friday, January 12, 2018 from 4 p.m.-9 p.m.  Funeral Mass at St. Joan of Arc Church, 5815 Pernod Ave., 63109 on Saturday, January 13, 2018 at 10 a.m. and  interment at Resurrection Cemetery.  Memorial donations appreciated to St. Louis University and St. Louis Symphony Orchestra.[]
