It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of John Bernard Quante, Jr. John lived a life of dedication, faith, and service. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, brother-in-law, and friend, whose humble spirit and kindness touched all who knew him.

Throughout his life, he was a committed Catholic, devoted to his faith and to his community. As a parishioner at St. Simon the Apostle Church, John served and lectured daily mass with unwavering devotion, earning the affectionate nickname, “The Alter Angel.” He was an active member of the St. Simon ACTS Community, and his faith was the cornerstone of his life, which he passed down to his children.
He loved watching and supporting all of his children and grandchildren, from watching their soccer games to sending texts messages and voicemails of support. He was a dedicated fan of his grandchildren. He never missed an opportunity to show his pride and enthusiasm for their accomplishments.
