Phyllis and Calvin,
We are so sorry to hear of John’s passing. I always enjoyed talking to him when we lived next door.
He and your family will be in our prayers during this extremely difficult time.
Phyllis and Calvin
We are so sorry to hear this about John.
Hope you are doing okay.
I have happy memories of the time you, Paul and John came up to our club house on the MIssissippi River and he and Mark rode their bicycles and made a dirt ramp to jump over.
It is hard to realize he is gone. You and Calvin are in my thoughts and prayers.

Phyllis and Calvin,
My wife and I would like to extend our condolences on your loss. I have so many fond memories of Paul and John while growing up in the neighborhood. Paul was like a second father and John was like another brother to me.
Life just flies by so quickly and it is difficult to understand why things like this happen, but we just need to keep faith in God. You will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Deepest Sympathy in the loss of John
He was such a good neighbor to so many of us; he will be missed
Phyllis,
Extending my sincere sympathy to you. Memories of you and John from our Long School years will always fill my mind. Losing him must be leave such a void for you, his son, and all those who loved him.
Sending you much love.
Kristin (Strader)
Dear Phyllis and Calvin,
John was more than just a great neighbor. He was a protector of our subdivision, and a protector of each and every one of us who was fortunate enough to have him as our neighbor. John (or “John Boy” as my Pa referred to him growing up) was like family to all of us. He watched out for everyone. I think I can speak for the entire subdivision when I say that since Johnny’s passing, we all feel a little less safe. He just that kind of man.
