Anthony Wayne Sanders, was born on October 14, 1945 in St. Louis, MO to Walter and Mary (nee Giustiniano) Sanders, and entered into rest on Sunday, September 7, 2025 at the age of 79.
Loving husband of 30 years to Sherry (nee White) Sanders. Dear father of the late Veronica (George) Haeferkamp, and Anthony Sanders. Dear brother of Janet (the late Larry) Gillespie, and Mary Sanders. Dear grandfather, great grandfather, uncle, cousin and friend of many.
After retirement Anthony became an avid golfer and bowler. He was a Navy veteran of Viet Nam and a proud member of the High Ridge VFW Post #6516.
SERVICES: a VISITATION will be held from 10:00 am until Noon on Monday, September 15 at the Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. FUNERAL SERVICE at Noon on September 15. Burial at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery.
I am so sorry, Janet and Mary. I remember Anthony fondly from my childhood. Praying for comfort and peace!

So sorry to hear of Tony’s passing. He was a strong supporter of my kids’ scout troop sponsored by the High Ridge VFW. Condolences to his loved ones.
I’m glad I got to meet Tony, hear him laugh and see his smiles and how you two teamed up for your great grandson. I truly admire and respect that. I’m thankful for your and Tony’s beautiful son. Such a kind soul. Tony lives on in many hearts that he touched. Love you Sherry, Anthony and Skylar.
