In Loving Memory

Schenck, Garnet A.

Garnet A. (Carron) Schenck, age 85, recently of Imperial, MO passed peacefully on Saturday, February 26, 2022.

She was born on April 9, 1936 to Albert & Josephine (Hayes) Carron and lived 80+ years in Oakland, Mo. until her recent move to Imperial, Mo.  She graduated from Kirkwood High School (Nipher Building) and worked for Southwestern Bell Telephone / AT&T until her retirement in 1998 after 43 years of service. She was a life member of the CWA, AFL-CIO and Telecom Pioneers.

She enjoyed gatherings and reunions when all family members were present and enjoyed each other. She expressed many times her thanks’ and how extremely appreciative she was of the assistance she received from her grand-kids, brothers and sisters. She loved all so much.

She is survived by her two sons, Jack (Lisa) Schenck Jr. and Steve (Dana) Schenck, her Grandchildren Jason (Morgan) Fuchs, Shanna (Rich) French, Jay Schenck – Jack III, Jackie (Jesse) Harness, Joshua (Crissy) Schenck, Jacob Schenck, Cara Grant, Steven (Amy) Schenck, Jessica (Dan) Porzel, Joe (Amanda) Braasch, Lauren (Tim) Evans, Nick Boedy, Adam Boedy, Great-grandchildren, Brothers, Sisters, Nieces and Nephews and last but not least Her two beloved Boxer grand-dogs Ruby and Ruie. They made her laugh and smile big.

Service: Visitation at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, on Tues. Mar. 1, from 9 am until time of service at 11 am. Interment St. Paul Churchyard.

  3. It is a terrible thing to lose such a wonderful person in our lives. What we are left with are the precious memories and lessons learned from them. Aunt Garnet has always been such a bright light. I will miss her. My thoughts are with Jack, Steve and all who loved her.
