In Loving Memory

Schiebler, Beverly A. (nee Beasley)

May 9, 1937 - September 25, 2025

Preceded in death by her parents Alyine Abell and Carl Beasley, former husbands Robert Robbins and Carl Schiebler and step-fathers Frank Dale and Ralph Nierenberg. She is survived and deeply mourned by her son Robert (Pamela) Robbins, son Benjamin Schiebler and daughter Alisa (Dan) Schiebler-Felton; grandchildren Melissa (Brian) Wilson and Alexander (Megan) Robbins and great-grandson Wesley.

Beverly was a 1958 graduate of Stephens College in Colombia Missouri where she majored in music and voice; she was a member of the Sigma Gamma sorority. She had a long successful career as a gifted violinist recording and performing worldwide with the Grammy Award winning St. Louis Symphony Orchestra; hired as one of the first female ale violinist with the SLSO becoming principal chair of second violins. In addition to violin, Beverly once pursued a promising vocal career as an operatic soprano.

Services: Kutis Affton Chapel, 10151 Gravois Rd., St. Louis, Mo. 63123. Visitation on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Service at 11 a.m. Interment at Park Lawn Cemetery

    My sincere condolences to you all. Losing your parent is such a heavy loss. My heart goes out to you and prayers that you find moments of comfort in all the wonderful memories of her.

  2. Beverly was a member of the orchestra when I joined in 1969. She was very supportive and offered excellent guidance to a very young rookie. I will always be grateful for her friendship.
    Rob & Ben – I am sorry I will not be able to attend the visitation or funeral. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

  3. Beverly was always supportive of me during my eight years as the replacement 4th horn with the orchestra. I really regret not finding out in time to rearrange my work schedule to attend her visitation this morning. Please accept my sincere condolences for your loss. She was truly one-of-a-kind and will be missed.

  4. Dear Alisa, Ben, and family,
    I’m so sorry for your loss, and sorry that I didn’t find out about Beverly’s passing in time to be at the visitation and express my condolences in person. I loved working with her – she was a librarian’s dream when it came to doing bowings while she was the principal 2nd violin. Even more, she was a wonderful colleague and friend and a joy to be with. I’ll miss her!

    My most sincere condolences on the loss of Beverly. She was a wonderful colleague and dear friend, and I will always remember how proud she was of all of you. Her kindness and her steady, sensible outlook on life will be remembered.
