Shumate, Gary W., 69, passed away on December 8, 2021. He leaves behind his four children; Shelly (Loyd) Donathan of Dallas, TX, April (Chuck) Rathburn of Dallas, TX, Ginnylyn (Adam) Cella of Imperial, MO and Robert William Shumate (Bella Gutierrez) of Norfolk, VA; grandchildren Lilly Donathan, Mason Donathan, Riddell Kuykendall, Nathan Fellhauer-Cella, and Mila Cella; brother to Bill (Suzanne) Shumate; uncle to Gary (Jill) Shumate and Robert Carl Shumate. He left behind so many friends as well and will be very missed by everyone.

Originally from El Paso, TX growing up and moving to Dallas, TX and then St. Louis, MO, he was quite the salesman and could sell a pencil if you told him to. He was the life of the party and always wanted to be there for anyone who needed him. He loved hard.

Services: Visitation on Saturday, December 18, from 12 – 2 p.m. with a memorial service following at 2 p.m.  at Kutis South County Chapel 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd. St. Louis, MO 63129.
