Marc S. Silvey,
68, passed away on Friday, August 4, 2023 after a long battle with depression. He leaves behind his devoted wife of 46 years, Sandy (Kramper) Silvey; proud sons Brian (Jade) Silvey and Bob (Stephanie) Silvey; and loving grandchildren Grayson, Everett, Rowan, Riley, and Beckett.
Marc was born on August 9, 1954 in St. Louis, MO to parents Harold and Dorothy Silvey. Marc and Sandy married on May 14, 1977. They proudly raised two sons in Oakville, MO. Marc retired in 2013 and enjoyed spending his time at Innsbrook, fishing, working on small projects, being with his family and playing with his grandchildren.
Marc will always be remembered for how hard he fought. If you or someone you know is suffering with depression, help is available.
Services: Visitation will be held at Kutis Funeral Home 5255 Lemay Ferry Road on Saturday, August 12 from 9:00 AM until service at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to The Children’s Heart Foundation at www.childrensheartfoundation.org.

  2. I will always remember Marc for his positive energy. Sometimes unbendable steel bends. Unexpected death causes extraordinary grief. There are no adequate words to express my sorrow for what your family is experiencing.

  3. I only knew Marc as a child but, I was hoping to reconnect with him and meet his family. He always looked so happy in the pictures you posted. So very sorry for your loss.
