Soukup, Anita Louise (nee-Springkamper)

Age 88. Born December, 6th 1936 – called home on April 12th, 2025 at Mercy South Hospital.

 

Proceeded in death by her loving husband, Richard Soukup, daughter Janice Gulledge, grandson Austin Gulledge, her parents, Henry and Charolette Springkamper, Mother and Father in law Anna and Anton Soukup, a brother Heintz and sister Margaret, Brother in law Robert Heaton and former Son in law, Rick Limpert. 

 

Surviving are her daughter Cheryl (Bob) Budwell, daughter Linda Limpert. A loving grandmother of 7 grandchildren. Tony (Jenny) Budwell, Matthew (Amanda) Budwell, Lauren(Andrew) Watson, Ricky Limpert, Amy(Keyonda)Limpert, Amber Limpert, Kevin Gulledge. Along with 7 great grandchildren, Caden, Ryan and Benny Budwell, Colton and Grayson Budwell. Sophia and Harper Watson. Dear sister of Robert(Elizabeth) Springkamper, Dear sister in law, Shirley Heaton, Betty Springkamper. Dear aunt, niece, cousin and friend. 

 

Anita was a one of a kind, A true inspiration. Anita loved to spend all of her time with family as family was her world. Family was her everything and what kept her going in her final weeks of her life. Anita was a spitfire, life of the party women that told it as it is. Anita was a friend to all and loved by all that knew her. Her memories will carry on for a lifetime, and she will be deeply missed.  

 

Visitation: Visitation will be held Friday, April 18th 2025 from 4p-8pm at Kutis Funeral Home, Lemay Ferry Rd, St. Louis, MO 63129

 

Funeral: Funeral service will be held at 10am, Saturday April, 19th 2025 at Kutis Funeral Home, Lemay Ferry Rd, St. Louis MO, 63129. Interment St. Matthew’s Cemetery. 

 

In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials may be given to St. Louis Shriners Hospital, 4400 Clayton Ave, St. Louis MO. In Memory of Anita Soukup and/or in honor of her great granddaughter, Sophia Watson. Or in Memory of Anita Soukup to Stray Rescue, 2320 Pine St, St. Louis MO, 63103.

  4. So sorry to hear of Grandma Soukup passing. I have fond memories of her when I was kid. Rest in heaven beautiful. So sorry Kevin and Lauren❤️
