I have so enjoyed reconnecting with Daphne recently. Loved hearing her English accent. My thoughts and prayers are with Joselyn and family.
Daphne was my neighbor growing up in missouri. Such a sweet, kind soul. Condolences to jocelyn and family.
Daphne will definitely be missed on Moonlight. She made phone calls daily checking on what neighbors she could. She reminded us that every day is a blessed day with something to be thankful for. Sometimes there are also things we have a hard time dealing with…. She prayed for us all daily. She had her prayer list, her extra prayer list and her extra extra prayer list…. She was exceptionally independent and worked very hard to make sure she stayed that way… Daphne loved her English garden and was working in it every day the weather would permit – a little piece of England in her heart. I just want to knock on your door one more time and hear you say, “Well hello there!” But I can’t… So I’ll just say I love you, and I’ll see you later…

I used to play street hockey in front of the nice English lady’s house and eat all the mulberries out of her tree. She probably thought the birds did it. 🤣
Last year she gave me an arbor from her front yard and now it has purple passionflowers growing all over it and will for years to come.
So long Daphne and thanks for all the mulberries!
