SERVICES: Visitation will be held at Kutis Affton Chapel (10151 Gravois Rd 63123) on Saturday, October 7th from 2:00 – 4:00 pm.
Interment at Park Lawn Cemetery (1800 Lemay Ferry Rd 63125) on Monday, October 9th at 11:00 am.
Rick and I went way back, he was my Best Man , and a long-life friend. I can’t believe that anyone can match his wit.

I will not be able to attend the service because I am having reverse/rotator cuff surgery on October 4th.
But know that he is in Mike Burke and my thoughts.
Well Ricky, I am sure doing to miss you friend. Not many people I could call up late at night and still talk to for hours. We boated, motorcycled, and even scooted all over. Many camping and floating trips, and so much camaraderie. Always a friend through thick and thin. Yes the sadness is deep. I hope you can finally breathe now, in your perfect body in paradise. Dear Uncle Ricky, I’m so sadden to hear of your passing. I image you now with your big sister Kassie ( my beloved mother). I also image her saying” Ricky what are you doing here”? So nice to finally visit with you”
The most wonderful memories of you were the Awesome stories you would tell. I could have listen to you for hours about your adventures. You could make any story so funny!! Even the one about how you got robbed on the street, all you had was a dime in your pocket. The robber ended up giving you your dime back. He said you needed it more that he did. Then you final response was “hey I got my dime back”!!! Gonna miss your great story telling. Love you Uncle Rick tell Mom hello.
Uncle Ricky, we will miss your humor and funny stories with you and about you. Especially the boating and fishing adventure stories that my grandparents (your mom and dad) would share with us. They looked so forward to those trips with you. And we looked forward to hearing about them too. We love you Rick, may you forever rest in peace.
