Thomas Moeller

In Loving Memory

Moeller, Thomas

January 2, 1943 - April 10, 2025

Thomas Moeller, a devoted father, grandfather and great grandfather, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2025 at age 82.  Born in St. Louis, Tom grew up in Dogtown where he attended Gratiot grade school and graduated from Southwest High School in 1961.  He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force at Dyess Air Force base in Abilene Texas. Serving during the Vietnam era, he served as a Missile Facility Specialist in the 96th Combat Support Group.  After his service, he returned to St. Louis where he worked in sales for Prudential and Cuna Mutual.  Having been transferred to Ohio and Wisconsin for a few years, he moved back to St. Louis in the 1990s, where he resided for the remainder of his life.

Tom loved playing golf and cherished the friendships of his fellow golfers.  He cherished his many years playing in Hilton Head South Carolina where he also served as a board president of a condo association.  He was a man of faith and attended Webster Gardens Lutheran church for many years.

Tom’s greatest joy was spending time with his family and lifelong friends.  A loving father, doting grandfather of 3, he never missed one soccer game or volleyball game, not one tennis match or school play.  He proudly sat on the sidelines, cheering on his girls with their special nicknames just for them. Tom delighted being a great grandfather as well.

His family is forever grateful to the amazing staff at Fairmont Senior Living and Accent Hospice Care.

Dad will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

He was the beloved father of DeeDee (Tom), grandfather of Caitlin (Mitch), Madeline (Joey), Emma (Nik), great grandfather of Henry, Olive and Tommy, brother of Sharon (Dave), and Judi (Paul), and uncle to many.

Visitation at Kutis Funeral Home (10151 Gravois Rd, Affton, MO) on Thursday, April 17 at 9:30 am, followed by a chapel service at 10:30, and then the burial at Jefferson Barracks Cemetery.
