James Michael “Jim” Faulkner, 71, passed away December 28, 2025 at his home in Suffolk, Virginia. He was the son of the late Ronald Wayne and Margaret Inzenhofer Faulkner. He is also predeceased by his son Nicholas Faulkner, and his brothers Marcel Faulkner and Ronald Faulkner Jr.
Jim was a veteran of the United States Army where he served during Vietnam. He was a member of Holy Neck Christian Church in Suffolk, Virginia. He enjoyed reenacting the Civil War with 3rd Virginia and Princess Anne Grey’s. Jim also enjoyed playing video games and would play all of the latest wartime games that were available.
Jim is lovingly remembered by his wife of 28 years, Marie Faulkner; his sister, Monika Julian, his brother, Don Julian, his sister, Reba Carvalho, and many cherished friends.
Services: A funeral service will be held Tuesday January 6, 2025 at 2:00PM at R.W. Baker & Co. Funeral Home and Crematory (509 W. Washington St. Suffolk, VA) with visitation beginning one hour prior. A visitation will also be held at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Road, on Sunday, January 11, from 2:00 to 5:00pm with funeral services on Monday, January 12, 12:00 pm also at Kutis South County Chapel. To honor his service to our nation Jim will be laid to rest at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis, Missouri. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Jim’s name to Evelyn’s Wildlife Refuge.
