Allgeyer

In Loving Memory

Allgeyer, Richard K.

May 3, 1956 - January 7, 2026

Allgeyer, Richard K.
Wednesday, January 7, 2026.

Richard was born on May 3, 1956, to August and Mary Jane Allgeyer (late).

Beloved husband of Cheryl Allgeyer (née Hanks); devoted father of Matthew (Tiffany) and Kenneth (Carolyn) Allgeyer; cherished grandfather of Elise, August, Crosby, Garrett, and Levi; dear brother of Annette (Bobby) Knox and Bob (Geraldine) Allgeyer; loving uncle; and a treasured friend to all who knew him.

Rich was a hard-working and dedicated man who spent the majority of his career at Wonder Novelty, where he worked in electronics. He took great pride in his work and was known for his reliability, skill, and strong work ethic.

Above all, Rich was a man of kindness and generosity. He had a way of making people feel welcome and valued, and he left a lasting impact on everyone he met. His quiet strength, steady guidance, and caring nature made him not only a wonderful husband and father, but also a true role model.

Rich loved spending time “down in the country” with his friends, who all affectionately referred to him as “Hog.” Whether it was just hanging out, hunting, or putting in a good day’s work together, those moments meant the world to him. He also loved the water and being out on the boat during the summer months, where you would often find him captaining the boat—pulling tubers or skiers around the water and creating countless memories that will be cherished for years to come.

Rich will always be remembered as a great husband, a loving father and grandfather, and a man whose life was defined by love, dedication, and genuine goodness.

Services: Memorial visitation will be held at Kutis South County Chapel, 5255 Lemay Ferry Rd., on Saturday, January 24, from 12:00 noon until service time at 2:00 p.m.

  1. Dear Cheryl, Annette, Bob and all the Family,
So very sorry to hear of Rich’s passing. All that was written above, summarizes my memories of him, even back so many years ago, when all of us cousins were growing up. He was way too young… I’ll be praying for you all in your loss.
