George Michael Sutterfield, affectionately known as “Rascuel,” passed away on January 9, 2026.
George was the devoted husband of Janet Sutterfield (Richardson) and a loving father to Justin (Lindsay), Ben (Megan), and Ashley Sutterfield. He was a proud and beloved grandfather, known as “Pop,” to Nora and Colin Sutterfield.
George enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, and had a lifelong love of sports. He will be remembered for his presence, his passions, and the love he had for his family.
He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him

Jan,Justin,Ben and Ashley I am so sorry for your loss, words just isn’t enough. I can’t imagine how much he will be missed by your family. George “The Rascuel” passing will leave a big hole in all the lives of his Buds. George would make a good time into a great time just by his presence. He use to get me in so much trouble in high school because of his stubbornness and all I could is laugh because I loved the guy. We all lost a good one. Mark Cain
