Peggy Sue Willard, born August 25, 1961, in Poplar Bluff, Missouri, to Roy and Hasseltine (Collins) Willard, entered into rest on Saturday, May 30, 2026, at the age of 64.
Peggy was a beloved sister to Jerry (Wanda) Willard, Bill (Louise) Willard, Bonnie (Charles) Barnes, and Harold (Priscilla) Willard; and a cherished sister to the late Shirley (Leon) Wood, the late Bob (Kathy) Willard, and the late Larry (Audrey) Willard. She was a loving aunt to Leon Willard, Tony Benson, Connie Gasko, Angie Benson, Susie Prewitt, Robert Reinchenback, Steve Wood, Pam Willard, David Willard, Donna Brice, Theresa Bock, Ronda Barnes, Danny Ivicsics, Michelle Barnes, Michael Willard, and Charla Barnes; and a proud great‑aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Peggy devoted more than 40 years to caring for residents at Nazareth Living Center, spending her later years serving on the Memory Care Unit, where her positivity, humor and warm spirit touched countless lives. Peggy treasured her friendships—from her Nazareth colleagues and Solid Rock Church family to her lifelong Greenville High School friends, especially the close-knit “Hens”. Her joyful presence made everyone feel welcome, and her ability to bring laughter and light into any room earned her countless loyal friends who shared decades of fun and memories. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to all her friends, and especially to Missy, Theresa, Brenda, and Jackie, who showed up daily to support Peggy and her family in every way.
Peggy’s greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends. She loved having fun– attending concerts, traveling, visiting her favorite restaurants, reading and watching old movies. She will be remembered for her kindness, humor, unwavering love for others and the joy she brought to everyone. Peggy will be deeply missed by her family and so many friends.
SERVICES: Visitation Wednesday, June 3, from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 a.m. at Solid Rock Church, 899 Gravois Rd., Fenton, MO. Memorial contributions in Peggy’s honor are appreciated to Solid Rock Church.
