Daniel Nolan

In Loving Memory

Nolan, Daniel T.

February 10, 1938 - September 5, 2026

Fortified with the Sacrament of Holy Mother Church, passed away peacefully, on Saturday September 5th, 2026.

Beloved husband of Sharon K. (Miller) Nolan, devoted father of twins Daniel T. (Kate) Nolan Jr. and Nancy (Tom) Foy; adoring grandfather of Jack (Allyse Agers) Foy, Benjamin Foy, Adam Foy; dearest son and last living of four children of the late James E. and Estelle (O’Brien) Nolan; loving brother of the late Jane (Cliff) Kavanaugh, James (Joyce) Nolan, and Joan (James) Doyle; our dear uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend to many.

Dan and Sharon were married for 58 years. During those years they loved playing golf together and with family and friends.  He enjoyed his grade school (Our Lady Lourdes) and high school (St. Louis University High) class reunions all the way up until his death.  As an avid historian, he created a family photo album every year. He was a member of the Teamster local 682 retiring from driving a redi-mix truck.  He amassed a collection of over 300 toy mixers.  He also collected coins, hats, matchbooks, music and flags.  He was very proud of the WWII aircraft models that he assembled in his free time. He and Sharon enjoyed camping so much that he helped organize a Family Camp Out that has continued for over 40 years and 4 generations! Dan loved his family.  He loved family gatherings during the holidays and spending time with friends.  He was a proud Navy veteran.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a contribution to Children’s Hospital or Alzheimer’s Association.
