Entered into rest on June 11, 2017 at the age of 97.

Beloved husband of the late Lena (Mazzarese)  Bogacki for 57 years; beloved son of the late John C. and Agnes (Wasielewski) Bogacki; brother of the late Fire  Captain Eugene Bogacki; father of John E. (Madonna) Bogacki, Mary Ann (Joel) Schwartz and Jeannine (Chuck Snyder) Bogacki;  step-father of Charles Giamarino; grandfather to Antonia (Mark) Daly, Nicole (Roberto) Santacruz, John A. (Mary) Bogacki, Jonah, Gabriel and Mattea Schwartz; great-grandfather to AJ, Luca, Nico, Amelia Daly, Olivia and Elena Santacruz; dear uncle,  cousin and friend to many.

Employed at the City of St. Louis Health Division for 41 years in food inspection, meat inspection and Manager of Animal  Control.  Life-time member of Musicians Local 2-197. Original Member of Buddy Kay’s Orchestra, member of the National  Association of the Sanitarians, Missouri State Milk and Food  Association, Missouri Animal Control, Past National Director of Travelers Protective Association, Honorary Kentucky Colonel and National Rifle Association member.

Services: Visitation at KUTIS AFFTON CHAPEL, 10151 Gravois, Monday, June 19, 9 a.m. until funeral service at 12 Noon.  Interment J.B. National Cemetery.
