Of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Sunday, March 11, 2018, on his 59th birthday, following a brief but devastating fight with cancer. Beloved son of Barbara Ann and the late Frederick Klaus; devoted father of Kelly (Jonathan) Hackett; dear brother of Barbara (Mike) Wilhelm, Brian (Janet) Klaus, and Sharon (Rich) Nolan; former husband of Barbara (Aaron) Cuddy-Racine. He is preceded in death by his brothers, Mark Klaus and George Klaus; step-daughter, Leslie Veltrop; and wife, Terry Klaus, who passed away on February 11, 2018.
A memorial visitation will be held at Kutis AFFTON Chapel, 10151 Gravois Road on Saturday, March 17th, 2pm-4pm. The visitation will be followed by a celebration of life at Sam’s Steakhouse, 10205 Gravois Road after 4pm; stair-free access to the lower-level party space is available at the restaurant’s rear entrance.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Carl’s name be made to the American Cancer Society or Heifer International
