Wells, Terry Neal

With a heavy heart we share the news of Terry Neal Wells peaceful passing on February 1, 2025.

Terry was born in Southern Illinois on March 10th, 1935 to Leonel and Dixie Wells.

He is survived by his wife Geri Wells, whom he married January 7, 1966.

Siblings: (5) siblings and (5) siblings in-law and many nieces and nephews.

Children & Stepchildren: Angela (Tom) Fassett, Greg (Ruthy) Wells, Randy (Crystal) Wells, Janis (Alan) Syers, Janine ‘Jeanie’ Longo (Mike Shillato) preceded in death son-n-law Charlie Longo, Cathy (Craig) Garner and preceded in death by Charles (Stephanie) Schomber.

Grandchildren: Christopher (Sierra) Acree, Joe (Cheridan) Wells, Philip (Kara) Wells, Patricia Wells (Jay Turner), Tom (Michelle) Wells, Shannon (Mitch) Timinsky, Nathan Syers, Brian (Jennifer) Longo, Amee Longo, Jacob Garner, Charles (Kristi) Schomber, Crystal Schomber, Michael Ainsworth and Jordan Ainsworth, and 19 wonderful great grandchildren.

Terry proudly served his county as a U.S. Army Veteran. He was a member of Assumption Parish, St Louis. He loved the outdoors including hunting, trout fishing, white water rafting, parachuting, snowmobiling and boating. He also enjoyed playing cards with family and friends.

Per Terry’s wishes his ashes will be spread on family land and a small Celebration of Life will be planned this Spring.
