Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church on Sat, Sep 29, 2023. Beloved wife of William Bain; beloved grandma to Haille & Samantha Moret, Jack Bain, Miles Birke and Lily & Agnes Andrasko; dear mother to Kimberly (André) Moret, David (Amy) Bain, Angela (Andrew) Birke-Andrasko; dear sister to Maureen (Len) Valentine; dear mother-in-law to the late Mark Birke. Faithful and fun friend, aunt, cousin.

Kathy grew up in North St. Louis City then moved to Webster Groves, MO, where she attended Annunciation Catholic Elementary School and Ursuline Academy High School. She was a graduate of Miss Hickey Secretarial School and was a treasured secretary at Firestone Tire. She was a very accomplished, skilled, and talented seamstress, quilter, artist, painter, and crafter. She was an exceptional and welcoming homemaker and hostess who created countless wonderful memories for her family and friends, especially for her children and grandchildren, throughout the years.

Kathy donated her body to Washington University School of Medicine. Please join us for a welcome starting at 9am and a Catholic Mass at 10am on Fri, Oct 6, at Annunciation Catholic Church, 12 W Glendale Rd., St. Louis, MO 63119. Luncheon following. Donations in her memory can be made to Visiting Angels, 11131 South Towne Square, Ste F, Saint Louis, MO 63123

  1. Many years ago Kathy and Bill were my neighbors in Crestwood. Both were so very kind and helpful to me and my family when my husband was in VietNam. They were great friends and I will never forget Kathy’s sweet personality.
