Elma “Jean” Gockel (Froehlich)

July 13, 1948 – December 15, 2020. Jean was a wonderful daughter, sister, mother, aunt, grandmother, and friend to all who were lucky enough to know her.  She was an independent, caring, dependable and fun loving woman who loved her family, friends and alone time fiercely.  She is survived by her brother Victor Froehlich and sister-in-law Gail Tully, children Jeffrey and Susan (Kisro) Gockel and Jennifer (Gockel) and Carl Monego, grandchildren Christopher Rieske, Matthew and Breanne (LaGreca) Lambert, Charissa (Martin) and Michael Hammond, Caitlynn (Gockel) and James Pashia, Cameron and Gabrielle (Grobe) Gockel and Greta, Reyna and Charlie Monego, great-grandchildren Harvey, Raelynn, Betty, Lucille and Emersyn. “Jeanie”, “Beav”, “Mutsie” was loved so dearly and will be missed by all of us who loved her.   5. Jean was a great person. She had so many friends that loved her. She was smart, funny and beautiful inside and out. We had so much fun over the years. She will be so greatly missed. I miss her so much.
